Ready for shipment with the sender

Hello,
A close relative placed an order yesterday late morning on Amazon. It is an order made with a Prime account, scheduled for delivery today.
The order has been shipped to his Amazon account since yesterday at 5 PM and includes bananas. However, the problem is that Chronopost is handling the delivery, and unfortunately, the tracking indicated on the website shows the order has been "preparing" with the sender since 5:46 PM yesterday.
Both sides are passing the buck. It's 3 PM, and the tracking hasn’t changed. I don't think I have a chance of receiving this package today after all. But is this normal, and when do you think it will update or arrive in my mailbox?

    Hello,
    nothing is abnormal, your package has not yet been handed over to Chronopost; the tracking will restart when the package is handed over to Chronopost and scanned by Chronopost.
