Hello everyone,
When I want to place an order on the website AliExpress.com, (in this case, several tables for about 800 euros, the site returns an error message "for products shipped outside the EU, the total value of a purchase from the same store is limited to 150 euros." I don’t understand where this issue comes from, which is not mentioned in AliExpress's policy, and the seller himself seems not to understand it either… I would like to clarify that I am purchasing on behalf of my company (limited liability company) and that I have provided my VAT number when placing my order. Can someone explain to me where the problem comes from?

Above 150 euros, the sender is obliged to make a customs declaration (the duty-free allowance is below 150 euros of mail-order purchases)
The only thing that Aliexpress has added is the collection of VAT from the very first cent, as you may have noticed by looking at the value of your cart...
If you can't find elsewhere, request a shipping quote from a carrier-forwarder.

Unfortunately, I'm not quite sure I understand it perfectly.
You mention that I need to make a request for a "transaction quotation from a freight forwarder," could you explain how I should go about this?
Additionally, assuming I have made this request, how can I then make my payment on the AliExpress site? Aside from a field to enter my payment method and address, there is no other information requested during my payment, and when I attempt to make my payment, I receive the error message mentioned in my first message.

indeed, it has become impossible to buy a product over 150 euros on Aliexpress. I wanted to buy a graphics card, but it was impossible. I was offered the option to split the payment into 2 installments. I gave up, as the total of the two is still over 150 euros. If only we could manufacture in France, but there aren't any.
