How to apply color formatting in a Word/Excel mail merge

Hello,

I would like to know how it would be possible to apply one of the color formatting options across an already created Excel file to transcribe them into a mail merge?

Unfortunately for me, I have tried various things without success. Notably by opening my EXCEL file (in the Data Source file) in the recipient selection incorporating the MS Excel Worksheet option via a DDE (*.xls), but after trying, all my data in the mail merge is in black and white while in my source file, they are in color.

So, I would like to output the colors from my Excel file in the mail merge, could you please help me?

I’d like to specify that I am a beginner.

Thank you for your help, I am eagerly awaiting your responses.

Nico.

    Sorry, but that's not possible!

Except maybe through VBA, with a macro; but that's beyond my skills...

Thank you for the clarification. If someone could help me with VBA or the macro, I would be very grateful!

I imagine I will most certainly need to enter some lines of code...

    Thank you for your help...
