Hello everyone.
I'm definitely in "this is really starting to annoy me" mode. LOL
Indeed, when I use Chromecast to mirror my computer screen to watch a movie or something on my TV, it randomly turns off by itself.
The sleep mode is not activated. (I'm taking the lead here)
I removed the batteries from my remote control to make sure it's not coming from there.
It turns off, turns back on, then turns off again permanently.
I have reset and updated the TV and Chromecast, the computer is also up to date, and the antivirus doesn't detect anything. (you never know)
I have already changed the Chromecast to a different HDMI port.
I'm quite annoyed because the TV in my bedroom is hardly used for anything else and only works (normally) for an hour or two a day - if that, and this has been going on for a while.
When it's in TV mode, it works perfectly fine.
So I'm stuck watching my movies and series streaming on my phone screen while I have a 107 cm screen at the foot of my bed! GRRRR!
Does anyone have a solution? I'm getting desperate.
The TV is a Haier, two years old (of course just out of warranty even though I doubt it's a TV issue)
I'm calling on all willing hearts and inspired minds who could help me solve this problem. Thank you!
Configuration: Windows / Chrome 91.0.4472.124

Thank you for your interest.
The computer is 2.50m-3m from the Chromecast (and the reception is good).
I have already installed a Wi-Fi repeater and I have placed the Chromecast differently (HDMI extender) so that it picks up better, so it is not between the wall and the television.
Whether with or without repeater, or with or without HDMI extender, the television always turns off in the same way.
Without a predefined duration, randomly.
Then there's no way to turn it back on: it turns on, turns off, turns back on, and turns off permanently.
I want to point out that the red diode (signal state of the television) blinks during this transition.

Hello, thank you for the feedback. I think we should test the television or the Chromecast on another TV.
