First of all, a hello to everyone
here's my problem: I wanted to open files that I encrypted with the software AxCrypt 1.7.3156 but unfortunately, I can't remember the password since 2009. Thank you all for helping me solve this problem.

Good evening,
CCM members cannot help you find or recover a forgotten, lost, or unknown password or user code, that is, reveal it in plain text, whether on Windows, Mac, Linux, or other operating systems, but they can help you reset it. See further explanations about "recovering" a password versus "resetting" a password.
No assistance can be provided to find passwords for Excel files, PowerPoint presentations, PDF files, protected folders, encrypted disk images, "software vaults," laptops, tablets, smartphones, key codes, or other access systems requiring identification by password or code.
Bureaucrats, if they were given the Sahara, in 5 years, would have to buy sand elsewhere.
Coluche.

Good evening,
It is clearly stated on the publisher's site https://www.axcrypt.net/information/faq =>
"The basic rule is: If you lose or forget your password or key-file, your documents are lost."
In short, lost password = lost file
So no solution is available to you.
Regards.
