Replace a Panel of a Desktop Monitor

Hello, I'm reaching out to you because recently my main screen suffered a shock (It's an Alienware AW2518H 24.5" 240hz) which created a sort of 'crack' inside.
The problem is that even under warranty, DELL does not cover this type of repair and is inviting me to buy a new screen.
I've seen a lot of tutorials on 'how to change a laptop screen' but hardly any on a desktop screen. Should I conclude that this is not possible?
Moreover, I haven't found any website that allows me to find a screen panel corresponding to my screen.
Having two similar screens (Alienware AW2518H and Asus VG248QE), I wanted to undertake the change of both panels, but I feel that it will be perilous.
Before turning to the solution of repurchasing, I would like to have your advice.
Have a good day, everyone!

Hello,
I think it's better to change the screen. No escape!
