Hello,
I have been registered on the "Française des Jeux" website for a long time, and yesterday, suddenly, a series of games won’t open, and I received the following message:

"A page embedded at the address revolo.fdj.fr indicates: This device or browser is not compatible with this game."

What does that mean??? I am playing on a Chromebook. I need your help. Thank you in advance.

I have had the same problem since July, I called Française des Jeux, I sent an email and always get the same response: change your search engine, I use Opera.
If this is a consequence of privatization, I have therefore made the decision not to fund my account anymore and not to play... I am saving money, even though I have been a customer since the launch.
I think we still have the freedom of choice.

However, whether it's on the Chromebook or the phone, I can't connect

It's not that complicated: just like a number of websites in general, the one we're talking about is not optimized for Chrome OS and/or the browsers that come with it, and if using another browser doesn't change anything, there is no solution.

Chrome OS is merely a version of Linux, and a number of sites do not support Linux in general or Chrome OS in particular.

Having used Linux for many years, fdj is the only site where I have encountered (recently, like other contributors) problems with instant games.
If the only solution is to purchase a compatible OS (and in my case, a new computer), isn't that a form of forced sales?
Like others, I have called, written messages, and received no satisfactory response, with some answers being clearly a load of nonsense.
So I have contacted the mediator and I am waiting for the protocol period to decide on the next steps.
If this blocking of Linux users is indeed legal (for example, the use of the French lottery brand), why are we not getting a straightforward answer?

Without going as far as a procedure (not in cassation, there should be a first judgment (or two?) before that, and without any vice of form or procedure, nor any unfair concealment) the question of continuity arises: it works for years and then it blocks, for no apparent reason and without explanation. Backward compatibility? Contract between a user and a provider (here for leisure)?
Rip fdj, that is probably the objective ...

Hello, personally I have the same problem, and I switched to FIREFOX, it works perfectly on all sites, including FDJ where I was having issues.

Regarding instant games on FDJ, I'm having the same issue on Linux regardless of the browser, even after checking that I have the latest version of Firefox or Brave, and whatever my distribution (based on Debian). However, with an aging version of Win7 (and also well on Win 10) running on VirtualBox, it works fine. So to summarize, to play an instant game, it's better to use a completely outdated virus trap like Win7 (which is no longer maintained) rather than a Linux distribution. As a result, I only use it for that, in a virtual system. However, I believe that the development of applications for FDJ shows a lack of ethics regarding the notion of universal accessibility. This presumes a mentality that likely extends beyond just computer applications...
