Online order issue yesstyle

Hello,

I just placed an order on YesStyle and I received an email saying that my order was successfully placed, but an hour later I received another email saying

"Thank you for your purchase on YesStyle.com.

We inform you that your order 16764859 cannot be processed because your credit card information could not be verified. If you wish, you can place a new order by choosing PayPal as your payment method.

If you paid for your order with a credit card, it has not been charged. We only received an authorization for payment from your credit card. Since the authorization has not been charged, no refund is required. The authorization on your credit card will be canceled after 7 to 14 business days, depending on your bank's policy."

Is this serious???

I don't know the site in question and cannot reassure you (or not) about its reliability....

However, it is likely that according to what they explain, the payment was not validated possibly due to a lack of confirmation, as verification obligations have evolved to prevent fraud. (now it's generally required to validate a purchase transaction using two-factor authentication)

In short, if the site is legitimate, they should have a contact page where you can ask them to confirm what I presume... And if it’s not... the best thing would still be to keep an eye on your credit card statement....
