Hello
Safari installed on the iPad2 doesn't work well, it's impossible to select certain links or some fields
The same thing happens with the installation of the latest version of Firefox from the App Store
Which browser works with the iPad2?
Without a browser, the iPad 2 is headed for the trash.

Hello,
Has a complete restart been done?

Uninstall and reinstall the Firefox app.
In some cases, the app is absolutely necessary... And when it’s no longer possible... It's far from being marginal with the iOS operating system (iPhone; iPod; iPad)
=> Some websites display error messages / Certain specific URLs cannot be displayed.
=> This indicates that the browser (or the device where it is installed) lacks the components to run the website/URL.
=> For example, the Netflix website usually shows an error message "Silverlight". For your information, with Android 5, I have never experienced any issues installing apps or browsing websites without the app.
I’ve helped several people with an iPad 2, precisely thanks to browsers!
I’m sending this:
“1/ Install an independent browser (Firefox/Google Chrome app).
2/ Once you’re on the page (https://xxxxxxx), look at the borders of the browser (at the top and bottom).
3/ The 3 vertical dots or 3 horizontal lines.
4/ Enable the desktop version (it won’t request the app anymore).
PS: Even if Safari offers this option, it’s very likely that it won’t work because Apple’s browser is linked to iOS (so I reiterate, it must be done with Firefox or Google Chrome - app located towards the bottom of the “Purchases” list of the shared ID).”
So it must definitely work, we will find the problem ;-)
