Snap opens my messages on its own

Hello, so yesterday I sent a message to my boyfriend to let him know I was on my way, but he didn’t open it at all because when we’re together, he never pays attention to his phone. So we ended up going to bed, and I woke up this morning because I couldn't sleep for an hour, and I see "opened 36min ago," but he was sound asleep since the night we went to bed and his phone was even off because it ran out of battery the night before. So I don’t understand how my Snap could have been opened while he was sleeping and he assures me that nobody has his codes? I'm starting to panic, I hope it's a bug, so if anyone knows or if this has happened to any of you, I would appreciate some clarification... thanks in advance.

      Good evening, I admit that this just happened to me and it's quite strange, but I received a notification that someone was writing to me and that they sent me a Snap message, and when I went to check, it was like opened even though I haven't opened it myself. It's quite complicated to know if the person sent a message, turned off their mobile data, and deleted it because I know there are many features on Snap that one can use to prevent the other person from seeing.

      It has happened to me before, and I never understood how it works. It says "open," but when I go to the discussion, it isn't. So I don't know if it's open or not.
