Hello,

I would need some advice please for a problem with my parents' LG TV.
Indeed, it stopped working suddenly a week ago and no longer receives any channels, displaying "no signal".

Additionally, a small logo resembling a WiFi symbol appears at the top right (see photo).

The TV is a LG 43LG500V with TNT, and it is connected via a cable that links to the wall TV outlet.

We have already tried:
- To perform multiple channel searches which yielded nothing

- To check with the neighbors, who all use TV through their internet boxes, so it's impossible to know if it works for them

Do you have any solutions to propose please? My parents watch a lot of TV and are very annoyed by this issue.

The selected source is indeed the TV, not an HDMI port or Wi-Fi

    What are the possible options in the "Sources"?
    This television is only connected to an antenna, not to a Canal decoder or anything else.
    
    Is the reference 43LG500V correct?
    Because it does not exist at LG; there is a 43LJ500V.

    Yes, I made a mistake with the reference, it's indeed 43LJ500V.
    
    The proposed sources (according to what is selected in the tab --> configuration --> channel search) are cable or antenna, USB, AV, HDMI 1, and HDMI 2.
    We tried cable and antenna by launching channel searches with either selected but none work.

Is the selected country the right one?
Settings => Options => Country
Curious this image with a wifi logo... Isn't there a WiFi dongle connected to a USB port?

  Yes, the selected country is indeed the right one.
  I haven't seen any tab regarding the WiFi.
  I will go tomorrow to test with another TV to see if the problem might come from the TV or from the apartment and the reception.

    There is no amplifier connected to the antenna...?
    If so, it could be that it has lost its power supply or is malfunctioning.

    The TV only worked via the cable plugged into the wall socket. I don't know where the antenna is located (on the roof of the building?) and I don't know if there is an amplifier. None of this is accessible to us anyway. Thank you.

In a building...
So if there is an amplifier, it is the responsibility of the property manager...
To know if the issue comes from the television or the antenna signal, only a test with a different television in this apartment or testing the concerned television in a different location will tell.

  We tried plugging the TV in another apartment, it worked, and we had all the channels.
  
  When they returned home, they searched for channels with exactly the same "options," antenna, etc., selected, but it yielded nothing. So we contacted the building association.
  
  And finally, 2 hours later, after a new search, 6 channels were picked up. I don't think the building association sent someone in such a short time; they didn't seem very motivated on the phone. Who knows, maybe tomorrow we will have more channels!
