Hello everyone,

I recently got a Sharp LC-60LE660U TV (American model) without the remote control.
Here’s my issue, the screen turns on, displays SHARP in color and nothing else happens even if I press the buttons on the side of the screen.
Does anyone have a solution to help me get it working?
Thank you for your responses.

Hello and welcome to this forum,

Without a remote control, I doubt you will be able to do much, see here:

    Moreover:
-This TV must have a tuner receiving US broadcasts in the ATSC standard; you will need to add an external HD TNT adapter to connect via HDMI for use in France
-What do you read about the power supply specified on the nameplate?

Thank you for your responses. Here is the photo of the nameplate

I have the transformer for the voltage, the screen lights up and simply shows "sharp", could this be due to the absence of the remote control?

        Phew, do you have a transformer from 220 V / 50 Hz to 120 V / 60 Hz?
Yes, you need the remote control to access the menu.
Otherwise, see if you can switch it manually to an HDMI input and connect a HD TNT adapter.

I think I really need a remote control because I can't do anything with the screen buttons. It turns on and shows SHARP on the screen even when connected to a decoder via HDMI.

Hi Redbart, according to the descriptions, it is specified for 110 volts 60Hz
On other multi-current ones, 100/240 volts 50/60 Hz.
