Hello,

I just bought a cordless Alcatel F530 phone, but the ringer is off; when someone calls me, it doesn't ring. What should I do to activate it?

The phone being new, have you waited long enough for the batteries to be fully charged?
The manual recommends 15 hours of charging before the first use.

Can you make calls?

Is the ringtone volume properly set?
If you press the button located under the base... does your handset ring?

The reference key 11 in the image below is used to ring the handsets among other functions.

If you're talking about when you place the handset on the base and it makes a sound, yes, it does.

Under the base, there is a button that allows the handsets to ring.

For example, if you have placed the handset in a corner and you don't know where it is anymore, pressing the button under the base will help you find it...

Are the icons highlighted in yellow in the image on the side present?

In the top left, the bars indicating a good radio link with the base.
In the top right, the batteries are well charged.
Nothing is flashing on the screen.

If everything is normal, I would say... heading to customer service; this handset has a problem.
