XBox 360: Shuts down after 5 seconds with a steady red light

Hello,
I put away my Xbox 360 8 years ago because I don't play anymore. I hardly used it.
Today, I took out my Xbox 360 to play a bit. And to my surprise, it's not working anymore.

The console shuts down 5 seconds after turning it on: the round green light turns solid red and the console stops.

I don't understand how it can break down all by itself in its box.

I've seen this page before. But my problem doesn't come from the power supply. The power supply is official and has no issue with the indicator light.

And the On/Off button of the Xbox?

In this case, the problem would be the video connection with the TV. What cable are you using?

I don't think it's the HDMI cable. I'm going to test with another cable anyway.

Edit: With several other cables, it's the same thing: the HDMI cable from the Nintendo Switch, the HDMI cable from the PS3, and 2 others.

I also tested with the AV cable (yellow-white-red) that I never used: it's the same, it shuts down the console and the light/button turns solid red.

I finished all the tests. There is only one case where the console doesn't shut down:
        - Don't connect a video cable.
        So strange!

I have exactly the same issue as you. Have you managed to solve your problem or not at all?

I have exactly the same issue on Xbox 360 Slim and the screen shows error E82.
