Hello,

After long searches, I am turning to you in one last hope..

Problem: Toshiba USB STORAGE 3.0 not found, showing no capacity in diskpart and uninitialized in disk management.

Possible cause: my laptop went to sleep during a file backup on this external hard drive..

Since then, I have been unable to find it in the file explorer..

Here is how it appears in DiskPart:

When I go to disk management, it directly prompts me to initialize this disk and even when I indicate that I want to start initialization, I receive the note <<the device="" is="" not="" ready="">>, it appears uninitialized:

Following various discussions on forums, I tried changing USB ports, computers, deleting the lines concerning it in the device manager, restarting the computer... in short, I'm a bit stuck!

Can someone help me recover my documents?

Thank you in advance for your replies!</the>
