Hello everyone
I often use YSD to download songs that I'm interested in.
A new version of YSD has just been released: for me, it doesn't work. After installation, I launched it and got a blank screen, and I had to exit through the task manager.
The old version that I reinstalled no longer works.
If you have any information on this, please let me know.

Hi,
When you uninstall the software, there might be a checkbox to delete preferences or something like that; it's common. If such a checkbox is present, try uninstalling the program with it checked.
The new version of the program probably created temporary files somewhere, or configuration files, or even registry keys. You should delete all this for a true "from scratch" reinstallation of the software.
Alternatively, you can try reinstalling a really older version. Does this software have an auto-update system? If so, did you install the new version through that?
If you can't get this software to work again, there's the alternative Youtube-DLG, which is very lightweight and open-source.
To overcome, we need patience, more patience, always patience.
