Hi, I'm always afraid that someone is watching me through my camera, so yeah I just want to be reassured....

If you can’t remove it, put some electrical tape over it.

I know why you're feeling anxious right now, but if your camera has a light indicator to show that it's on, it might reassure you to see it turned off. Or as Fabul mentioned, which I greet by the way, put something over or in front of it without blocking your machine's ventilation.
