Hello everyone,
I created a table of contents from styles, my titles are all in uppercase in the document but in the table of contents they appear either in uppercase or lowercase. I would like to change it to have everything in lowercase except for the first letter of the title in uppercase.
I don't know how to do that.
Thanks in advance for your responses.

Hello,
The table of contents reflects how you entered the titles.
Regarding uppercase letters, there are two ways to do it:
- Either you press the Shift key
- Or you use the Uppercase format (Font dialog box).
But...
If a style has been assigned to this Uppercase format, it implies that the entry is done in lowercase (Shift key not pressed).
If you press the Shift key along with the Uppercase format at the same time, you might not realize it, but if you disable the Uppercase effect, the uppercase letter remains. That's what happened to you.
And while it is possible to apply an Uppercase format (via the Font dialog box), you cannot do the opposite: lowercase is not a format.
In conclusion, if you don't want to mess around and want to be able to automatically update your table of contents after changes, you need to review your titles and remove the manual uppercase.
For that, you can select the title, press Shift+F3, and then Ctrl+Space.
