Hello,

The scale says 1/50000
So 1 cm equals 500 m
However, on my map with contour lines, 1 cm equals 50 m

    The scale and the contour lines have nothing to do with each other
    The scale of a map is for the "horizontal", the contour lines are for the "vertical"
