Rugby 08 [Command]

Hello,

To start, let's say that the rugby madness runs in me since the World Cup^^ That's why I've installed the game Rugby 08 on my PC. Hallelujah, it's working well...

BUT,

I can't seem to perform certain advanced moves, like pass feints, offloads, etc. They aren't in the help menu either... Can someone help me?

    Hello,

    Does anyone know how to perform kicks on the ball when it's on the ground?

    I can't do it, and it's preventing me from completing the challenges.

      Hi! I haven't tried it on 08 yet, but on 06 you just have to press the button that represents the triangle on the PlayStation controller (the top button, you know). But that wasn't enough, so actually you have to hold down the 'switch player' button (R1 if I remember correctly), then press the triangle again. The problem is that by pressing R1 you switch players... You kick with your foot, then switch players until you find the right one, keep that button held down and press triangle (or Z on the keyboard). Practice in 'free play' under 'training'.

    Just hold down the player change button + cross, square, circle, etc.

    To perform a ground kick, press Z; to make a foot pass, press S; to perform a high kick, press A; and for a high tackle (forbidden), you need to move towards the player and press D.

      To break the mauls, you need to press R3, and for the tackles, you must move towards the opposing player while holding R1.

    just some additional commands...
    - hand hooking (forbidden = penalty) ==> press "ALT" when the ball is on the ground
    - collapsed mauls (forbidden = penalty) ==> press "ALT" when the maul is progressing

    Nothing else, sorry...

    and still nothing for high tackles??????

    Hi guys, I'm wondering how to flatten out in your in-goal when the ball is there? (for example after a drop or a missed penalty?)
    Thanks a lot for the commands you post, if you know any other ones than the ones explained in the initiation, don't hesitate.

      To flatten in your in-goal, you need to use the same command as when you score a try.
      All the commands for this game are explained in the "read me" file of the game in chapter 9 (if I'm not mistaken).

    For the round, square, or triangle button, press the same button twice quickly for it to be fast, and press it once for it to be slow.
