Hello, can you stop putting things on our computers without informing us? I have a question about how to remove this from my desktop. I have a photo; I don't know what it's called, but there's a small arrow pointing down inside the red circle?

    Hello,

The small arrow circled in red in your screenshot is none other than ==►Search in Tabs
This allows you to type words to find information among the open pages in the tabs.
This new icon that appears on the right above the address bar has been available since the last version 89 (89.0.4389.90 Official Build).

To remove or hide this icon, clear everything in the address bar and do a copy/paste:

    chrome://flags/#enable-tab-search

Then hit Enter on the keyboard or right-click to copy and access chrome://flags/#enable-tab-search

Enable Tab Search is set by default to --►Enabled
Scroll down the checkbox (small arrow) and select --►Disabled
At the bottom of the page click on --►Relaunch (Restart or relaunch Chrome).

This option may be useful for many of you, I advise against disabling it.

To reactivate it, the command is the same:

    chrome://flags/#enable-tab-search

    And select --►Enabled

    A+
