Format Factory, issues with subtitles

Hello,

I've been using Format Factory to embed subtitles in videos for several months now. I've never had any problems until recently: since the last update, I can't keep my subtitles made with Aegisub; I mean the appearance of them.
Before, I just had to set the "subtitle index" option to "none" to prevent them from taking the colors and size proposed by the software (at least, I think that was how it worked). Now, that's no longer possible.

But maybe there's something else to do? Does anyone have a solution?

      Hi

I've been using the .ass format from the very beginning. The .srt format doesn't interest me since it doesn't support size, font, or color; it's just a basic text file, so it's of no use.
      Thanks anyway. :)

Hello, I noticed the same "problem" and I’m sorry for you, but there’s nothing that can be done to change it in this version. They took inspiration from the version prior to 2015 and improved and modernized it by adding useful extensions for today. Why this choice? Who knows... but concerning this option, it’s probably because it’s generally used for fansub "anime" or karaoke (where multiple fonts are often used) and not much for movies, for which this software is increasingly sought after. Anyway, for my part, I don’t need the new features it offers (which don’t make this new version revolutionary), I don’t care about the new, more stylish design (^^) and there are no improvements in performance and conversion speed. Since I have competent software next to me that works just fine, I have therefore returned to version 4.6.1 (2019) which allows me to do what I want... and above all, it’s perfectly compatible and debugged.
