Warcraft III: Unable to connect to Battle.net

Hello,
I recently reinstalled Warcraft III ROC/TFT (I do not own Reforged).

I bought the game on CD about 10 years ago and used it quite irregularly without ever having the problems I'll mention here. When I try to play online, the message "

"Unable to connect to Battle.net.

You may be trying to connect to the wrong Battle.net server. If you are using a modem, try connecting to the Internet before connecting to Battle.net" appears, regardless of the server used (whether it’s Northrend or another)."

I have no idea how to resolve this issue to play online.

Do you have a solution? Blizzard does not respond to my inquiries or to my topic on the dedicated forum.

Best regards.

Good evening, thank you for your response. Unfortunately, that wouldn't solve my problem; the offline game is completely accessible, I just don't have access to multiplayer. Moreover, merging Reforged and TFT would permanently alter the content of the latter in addition to unnecessarily burdening my computer.
