LibreOffice in French Solved

Question

Hello,I have successfully installed the Language pack for Libre Office and the installation was successful.However, even after restarting the computer, the only language available in the LO preferences - language is English. There is no other language available.What should I do?Thank you for any help...  Configuration: Macintosh / Safari 14.0.2

Because I always installed it in French without any special steps!

Indeed, everything is as official as can be...
I have tried in every possible way, the language pack (Torrent etc...) can indeed be found in the Applications folder. Every time I double-click on it, the reinstallation window sequence appears, everything goes fine, the final window says that everything is successful and that I need to change the language preferences, so I go into Language Preferences, and in the proposed interface language there are only two options: US English or Basic English...
I don't understand anything...

Hello,

On macOS, download the base version (English) AND the language pack (French).
Install the base version. Once done, quit.
Install the French pack.

Thank you very much for your very kind responses, but:
- It is indeed the official pack language as indicated in the links, etc.
- A message indicates that the installation was successful, and that I should open LibreOffice and choose the French language in the preferences; I do this and the picture will be more telling because the French language is not offered (see screenshot below)

Surely a very silly question, but did you install LibreOffice correctly? In the /Applications folder, do you have the LibreOffice icon and the name "LibreOffice.app" (and not a gray icon LibreOffice_7.0.4...........dmg)?

Hello, the question is not silly at all.
Here is the screenshot of the Applications folder in Finder:

Next, here in chronological order are the series of windows that open when I launch the LanguagePack module:

I see two problems: first, in Finder, I notice that the LanguagePack is independent of LO while on my other computer where I have LO in French without problem, there is only one LO module.
The second problem is the second screenshot where I don't understand much.
Then, what we see in the third screenshot is an application folder that contains only two LO modules... I don't understand, my Applications folder contains dozens and dozens of applications.
At this point, I have two choices: if I click the first module, I get CanonUtilities which loads and that has absolutely nothing to do with it... And if I choose the second module, it’s the series of screenshots that I produce in this post that applies.
Moreover, it should be noted that my MacBookPro machine is functioning perfectly and has no known internal corruption.

I did everything in order by replacing version 6 with version 7, then loading the Language Pack 7... but nothing works... the same windows that I showed above keep appearing and no French language option is offered to choose in the preferences (see my first screenshot posted yesterday)...

To have the interface in French (version 7.0.4):

After installation, close LibreOffice and restart it.
The interface in French should be available in the language preferences.

Dear all, extremely kind and collaborative contributors, as well as patient and understanding, a huge thank you for your help and encouragement because I succeeded, and I will explain how because this may help others and it is not explicitly described in the proposed solutions:
In fact, you need to drag the "LANGUAGEPACK" volume into the LibreOffice application module that is located in the Applications folder, and not drag it into the applications folder, nor open it independently, whether in the downloads folder or elsewhere.
Once you drag the LanguagePack into the previously installed LibreOffice Pack, everything goes smoothly and it works wonderfully.
I particularly thank the contributors on this subject because without them I was ready to give up the game given the time spent fruitlessly.
Everything is in order, once again a thousand thanks for your help and for your respect, as no disdain has transpired from the contributions, a precious quality if ever there was one!
