Recover Gmail account on new iPhone

Hello,
Following the change of iPhone, I can't retrieve Gmail on the new one. However, my account works normally on my old iPhone and on my Mac ???? I completely forget the password and the recovery procedure has been futile since December 18!!! Google refuses to recognize me even though I have facial recognition...
Thank you for providing me with clear help different from this recovery procedure that doesn't work!!!

    Hello
    If possible, please connect via Gmail.com Webmail (a browser) on the concerned smartphone, this is to "validate" the device you want to connect to.
    This corresponds to the "authorized" devices visible at https://myaccount.google.com/intro/security with your Gmail ID and password.

      Thank you, but I am falling back into the same recovery process and the same deadlock since Google still refuses to recognize me as the account holder.

    Yet you claim that your Mac and your old iPhone connect just fine!
    You can then use your Mac to "retrieve" your account information.

    How do you connect to Gmail on Mac?
    If it's through the browser, it should store your ID and password... check the browser settings.

      On Mac and iPhone, I connect from the icon. My son created my Gmail account in 2007 with my first computer. I have never had to use the password to log in, so when I changed my iPhone on December 18, the synchronization did not include Gmail. The problem is that the account recovery procedure keeps looping, even when entering the last password I remember... I tried calling Google support, but the voicemail asks for an ID number that I can't find... I'm a 71-year-old grandma who manages quite well with computers, but I admit this problem keeps recurring for me. I've tried forums and my friends in vain. I feel like I'm doomed to drag my old iPhone with the new one to avoid having to carry my computer in my handbag just to check my emails.
