Hello,

here is my issue, I have a "Google Chrome help" window that keeps adding to my tabs when I search on Google Chrome. I tried to block it in the settings but there's no way to do it. The address in question looks like this: https://support.google.com/chrome/?p=help&ctx=keyboard#topic=9796470, it is different from the official address which is this one: https://support.google.com/chrome/?hl=fr#topic=9796470 I think it's hacking; how can I get rid of it?
thank you

Configuration: Windows / Chrome 86.0.4240.111

    Hi,

You might want to save your bookmarks, download Chrome
    https://www.google.com/intl/en/chrome/?standalone=1

Uninstall it, and delete its folder, right-click on the Start button > Run: CMD:
    rmdir %LocalAppData%\Google

    Then reinstall it.

Hi Fabul, and thank you for your response. I reinstalled Chrome, but I couldn't execute cmd; it says the directory is not empty... so the window came back. What should I do?
      Thank you.

    Sorry, I forgot the arguments /s /q

    rmdir /s /q %LocalAppData%\Google

Or type in your search bar %LocalAppData%

    And open

    Delete the Google folder

Hi Fabul, I tried your second solution and here are the messages: "this file is used by another process" or "access denied" and the window keeps popping up... I don't know what to do. Thank you for your help.

        Is Chrome closed properly?

You can check with Process Explorer > Kill Process

If not, type Google in "Find", and in the bottom part > Close Handle
