Hello

When I do word processing on Open Office Apache, and when I select a block of text with my mouse to copy and paste, the block is successfully selected and turns blue, but no dropdown context menu appears showing "copy," "paste," etc. I am therefore forced to click on "Edit" then "Copy," followed by "Paste." This problem does not occur anywhere else: neither on Libre Office, nor on another jurisprudence research software, nor even on this site; I uninstalled Open Office, reinstalled it, but nothing changes

Can someone tell me the cause and origin of this problem and let me know what I should do

Best regards

    Re
    try to purge the profile
    Close Open Office
press the WINDOWS key (a flag) and R (simultaneously).
    -Then, type %appdata%
-Look for the OpenOffice or LibreOffice folder
-Rename it to OldOpenOffice or OldLibreOffice

    Hello,

    Not really a solution!
The context menus obtained with the right click are not modifiable by the user.

So if you really care about OpenOffice, do a complete uninstall with Revo Uninstaller and reinstall it.

Otherwise, you still have the option to use the shortcuts Ctrl C and Ctrl V.

Last resort: Use LibreOffice, since you noticed that the context menu is correct.

Good evening, thank you both for your ideas and solutions; unfortunately, none have worked; I am therefore resorting to LibreOffice

      Best regards
