Hello,
I have a Lenovo Yoga 510 and for some time now, the laptop screen has completely stopped working. (Just before this problem, the screen froze and then turned off).
I connected it to an external screen, everything works correctly. Looking in the display settings, only the external screen appears as a display device, no sign of the built-in screen... Moreover, pressing F10 shows on the external screen when selecting "PC screen only" (or any other option). The same goes for the device manager, in "Monitors," only the "Generic Plug and Play Monitor" appears.
I don't know if this could be due to a software or hardware issue. Is there anyone who can help me or suggest a potential solution?
Thank you!

Hello
Software, I don't think so, given the description. Probably more hardware. But it's impossible to be certain from a distance.
When you start the PC, before Windows boots up, it shows something on the laptop screen (maybe a prompt for accessing BIOS?)
If at this level the screen shows nothing or doesn't even light up (slight glow in the dark), it's hardware-related.
Either repair it or it's under warranty (2 years).
Best regards
