Hello,
I wanted to create a bootable USB drive to install a version of Chrome OS on an old laptop running Windows XP, but unfortunately, the operation did not work. Wanting to recover the USB drive, I deleted the files from the bootable USB drive and then tried to reformat it. The problem is that I now have two partitions on the USB drive. I have one partition G: FAT32 with a capacity of 1.04 GB and another I: with 6.20 GB FAT32
Thank you in advance for any help you can provide to recover my USB drive into a single 8GB partition.
Best regards to you all.

Hello
you need to unpartition the USB flash drive
2 ways
You can easily do this with the management console on your computer.
To access this console, right-click on "My Computer" and choose "Manage"
Once the console is open, select "Disk Management"
You should see your USB flash drive and its 2 partitions; right-click on each volume and select "Delete Volume" (note that all data will be erased), repeat this for each volume on your drive
Once the partitions are deleted, all you have to do is format the partition of your USB drive.
or
use a free software like EaseUS Partition Master

and explanations here (middle of the page)

be careful to choose the USB drive and not your hard drive
