Hello,
I installed Ubuntu in dual boot with Windows 10 on my PC.
Here is my problem: The Wi-Fi works perfectly on Windows but on Ubuntu I get this message "no Wi-Fi adapter found".
I have looked at many forums and here is what I understood: I may be missing the Wi-Fi driver. Apparently, I should use a USB stick because I can't connect via Ethernet cable as my PC doesn't have an Ethernet port. Sorry, I'm a beginner on Linux.
If it helps you, here is some information:
- My PC = Lenovo IdeaPad S145
- When I type "lsusb" in the terminal, here is what I get:
Bus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0003 Linux Foundation 3.0 root hub
Bus 001 Device 004: ID 1a2c:4094 China Resource Semico Co., Ltd USB Keyboard
Bus 001 Device 003: ID 174f:1176 Syntek Integrated Camera
Bus 001 Device 005: ID 0bda:c02f Realtek Semiconductor Corp. Bluetooth Radio
Bus 001 Device 002: ID 145f:01d9 Trust USB Optical Mouse
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub

- When I type "lspci -nn | grep -i network" I get:
Realtek semiconductor
Here it is, I don't know where the problem might come from, I hope to get some feedback. Thank you in advance.
