Clayton TV Black Screen Solved

Question

Hello,

My television turned off suddenly and the screen is all black.
However, the indicator light works, it turns off or on when I use the remote control.

I just read that it was wise to unplug everything and wait 5 minutes before plugging it back in, which I did, with no success.

Model Clayton, low price, bought on sale 6 years ago, no longer under warranty.

Should I replace the TV or is it repairable?

Could you help me?

For the Clayton, I had the same issue. Even though it's a bit late for the response, there is a button to the left of the indicator light but towards the back that makes everything work again once you press it, along with the remote control on/off button. After a certain amount of time, once the television is turned off, the remote control stops working, and you need to press that little button again.
