Hello,  I can't seem to turn off the flashing lights indicating calls on my Gigaset AS 435 H trio handsets even after listening to them. Thank you for your help.

Hello, Check the call log When a call comes in missed, and there is no message left, this call is recorded in the call log so that you can either return the call or not when consulting it. Hello  Thank you for your response. However, pages 9 and 10 of the user manual do not provide me with precise information regarding the deletion of the light signal. Moreover, the function to delete all old messages that appears in the user manual for the AS 435A that was provided to me does not exist in the menu of my AS435H device. Mariposa

Thank you for this clarification. My base is an AS 435 with a single button which apparently only serves to call the three handsets. However, contrary to what page 9 of the manual suggests, the device can function as an answering machine. It is strange to have a single manual for two different devices, especially since it is not specified which features are reserved for the AS435A after the bottom of page 9 (page 10? page 11?). In any case, this manual is not clear. My question remains: is there a simple way, such as pressing a single button, to eliminate the indicator light? Thank you.

The device can act as an answering machine. No, the device does not function as an answering machine... it allows you to see if you have voice messages on your operator's voicemail and to know if you have missed calls without messages.  My question remains: is there a simple way, such as pressing a single button, to eliminate the light signal? The answer is no. Have you tried following the procedure described at the end of page 9 and the beginning of page 10? Press the button with the envelope with the navigator (up or down) go to: "Calls" it will display for example |Calls 01+05| which means: 1 new call and 5 old ones Press OK with the navigator view the call list You will see the number or the name if the number is in your contacts of the correspondent who tried to reach you without leaving a message. From there you can press "menu" and make different choices (see page 10) or continue to view the following calls with the navigator... etc...  for external messaging it’s the same button with envelope  then with the navigator go to: Ext.rep there too |ext.rep 01+** (1 message and no older) Very difficult to catch a black cat in a dark room. Especially when it’s not there...
