Good evening
Following the formatting of my computer, I am unable to proceed with the computer update, install an antivirus, and run certain software installed with the following error messages:
"the update is not applicable to this computer"
"the application failed to start correctly (0xc000007b)"
"the application failed to start correctly (0xc0000005)"
Even when I download the update KB947821 to install it, I receive the following message: "the update is not applicable to this computer".
I have read several posts about these issues, but unfortunately, none of them could provide a solution to my problem.
I am therefore requesting your help, as I really need it.
The specifications of my computer are as follows:
TOSHIBA
Windows 7 Professional
64 bits.

    Hello,

    You need to follow the instructions on this page: https://www.malekal.com/windows-update-sur-windows-7/

    To note:
    • Control Panel
    • Windows Update
    • Settings on the left.
    • Turn everything off.
    • Restart Windows


    Install these two updates:

    Install KB3102810
    Then install the cumulative update: https://support.microsoft.com/fr-fr/help/3172605/july-2016-update-rollup-for-windows-7-sp1-and-windows-server-2008-r2-s

    Re-enable Windows Update and start a search.
    Normally, the download should work, and you just have to install the latest updates.
