Hello,
My camera for taking selfies is not working anymore. What should I do on Blackview 10000pro?

Configuration: Android / Chrome 86.0.4240.185

    Hello,

    First, restart your BlackView to try to reactivate the front camera.

    If that does not solve the issue, clear the camera app cache by going to Settings > Apps > Camera > Storage > Clear cache.

    If the camera still does not work, check for updates in the Play Store as well as Android updates and install any available updates.

    To check if the problem is hardware or software related, install or open an app that uses the front camera and see if it works or not.

        It's possible, but you can also try starting the phone in Safe Mode, which will temporarily disable all the apps you've installed and only keep the system apps active.

        To start in Safe Mode, press and hold the Power button until the shutdown and restart options appear. Press and hold the Shut down option and confirm the restart in Safe Mode when the confirmation message appears.

        Test the camera again in Safe Mode. Only the pre-installed apps on the phone are active, which will help determine if the problem is truly caused by a hardware or software issue. Once the test is complete, restart your phone to return to normal mode.

        As a last resort, you can try resetting your phone. But if the problem persists, then there is indeed a hardware issue with the front camera and it will require repair.
