Hello,
I have a recurring problem with Media Encoder:
When I export a video from After Effects to ME and start encoding it in a format, everything works, but at some point during the encoding, ME stops encoding and displays an error message like:
Error during export
Video compilation error. ^ n ^ nRendering error
The rendering returned an error.
Writing with exporter: H.264
Writing to file: \\?\D:\ES-pronos\montage video presentatio njé leo\presentation jé\presentation jé montage_AME\presentation jé_1.mp4
File type being written: H264
Around the timecode: 00:00:20:15 - 00:00:20:23
Rendering at offset: 20.500 s
Component: H.264 Exporter
Selector: 9
Error code: -1609629695
When I receive this message, I usually manage to resolve it by tinkering a bit with the presets or the rendering system.
But this time, I can't make it work!
Hence my call for help....

Solution 1:
I assume it's a graphics card issue,
In AFX: file > project settings > general
and there in the video playback and rendering menu: if it’s set to "Mercury Playback Engine GPU Acceleration (OpenCL)" switch it to "Mercury Playback Engine Software Only." And do the same if you're on "Mercury Playback Engine Software Only."
Make sure your screen is connected to the video port of your graphics card and not your motherboard!

Solution 2:
IF you tell us that you’ve already tried changing the rendering systems, I might have a solution
I also had this problem but on a project that really required a lot of resources, 3D ambient occlusion, heavy depth of field plugins and all that
And it was impossible to export, the PC was sweating a lot and I found a very simple solution that seems trivial ^^
Before starting your exports on Media Encoder, zoom out all the compositions you have open in After to the maximum:
And try your export again, it might work, it was the solution for me ^^
