TP-Link WiFi Extender Disconnecting Issue

Hello everyone, I have a problem and I need help ????
Let me explain my issue:

I have had a TP Link (TL WA865RE) for some time now that has been working very well until recently. But for a while now, the connection drops suddenly for no reason and the repeater does not reconnect to the Wi-Fi.
Let me explain, I connected the repeater to the Wi-Fi using the WPS buttons on both devices, the signal is good, the repeater is neither too far nor too close, and I can get Wi-Fi perfectly in other rooms. But suddenly my phone switches to 3G and when I open my Wi-Fi settings to reconnect, here’s what it shows me (photo), then it opens a window that says "incorrect password / reset..." I didn’t think to take a screenshot of that page (I should have, it’s the most important one). And then the router doesn’t reconnect at all. However, both indicators are solid green.

I have searched several forums, I found nothing in the TP Link FAQs, I spent 10 hours testing, retesting, reconnecting over the past 3 days...

Please help me, I need Wi-Fi for my distance learning with this new lockdown :/

Hello,

Have you checked if there is an update available for your repeater (or if there has been an automatic update recently)?
Have you tried connecting using the password to see if that makes a difference?

I haven't checked for updates (to be honest, I don't know how to do that) regarding the connection before attempting WPS; I tried to do it wired with my computer about ten times, but in the end, it didn't work (not connected)

Yours seems up to date. Apart from testing with a key instead of WPS, I don't have any more leads.

With the key, I can't even connect it to the router... For now, I reconnect it using WPS every time it loses the connection... even though it's annoying, it's a temporary solution... maybe someone else will have the answer
