    Microsoft is a brand...
    Windows is a software from the Microsoft brand... so if you want Windows... yes.. Microsoft is mandatory...

    Microsoft offers several software, such as Office for example (office software for word processing, spreadsheets... etc.....)
    If it's these software that are giving you trouble, then no, they are not mandatory...

    But could you explain how Microsoft has scammed you (which I find impossible... )

      Hello, because I was scammed on October 23, the woman told me that Microsoft would fix it to unlock my screen, which turned completely black. The number was 0901709090, she took control, etc., and my credit card was charged €1,170.86 shortly thereafter.

        The phone number given by Souka (09 01 70 90 90) is similar to that of Microsoft (09 70 01 90 90) https://www.microsoft.com/fr-fr/contact.aspx so it is not Microsoft, it is a scam, I will mark it as resolved.
