Hello,
I work in a company and we have set up a server with Windows Server 2008 R2 where Active Directory is hosted. The problem is that this server occasionally becomes inaccessible! It does not respond to ping requests.
How can I make it accessible all the time?
Thank you

Hello,
Sometimes you can ping it and sometimes you can’t, or is it all the time?
Are the responses to pings properly allowed on the W2012R2 server in the Windows firewall settings?

Hello,
Thank you for your response.
We access the W2008R2 server to manage our Active Directory users, and we sometimes lose access! But there is another person who intervenes and resolves this issue!!! I would really like to know what they do to resolve this problem??? I tried restarting the machine myself, but it didn’t work!
Thank you

Hello
And what does this other person say when you ask them the question?
Unless they're sneakily keeping the solution to themselves in order to get paid, there’s no reason not to tell you what to do...
Or maybe the "breakdown" is intentionally caused, but let’s not be paranoid...
