Hello,

I had a public account, I used it to post various videos and recently it is no longer public.. Before, I could see myself (through another account) in my subscriptions and now I can't.. If someone wants to see my story, they have to add me as a friend and I have to accept.

In the options, who can see my story and who can contact me is already set to everyone of course..

Any ideas?

I don't understand why no one can subscribe to my Snapchat account.

I've had an account that I've been using for 6 months, many have subscribed (I didn't have to accept them to see my story) but recently, it's impossible to subscribe.. My story is still set to "everyone can" see and contact me but nothing works, I have to accept each person and be friends with me to see my stories..

If your profile is public, everyone can access it and see your stories

If your profile is private, they need to send you a friend request... to access the content... and the stories

Well no, that’s the problem; it’s public and even if you add me, you won’t see anything until I accept you.

That’s my question, is it a general bug or just me?

There is nothing in the FAQ indicating that there is more visibility for public profiles...
You need to report the malfunction to Snapchat.

Select "My Snapchat account isn't working"
Select "My Story or one of my friend's Stories"
Press "Yes"
Select "Viewing"
Select "My Story"

And then finally you have a contact form to explain the problem.

Well that's it, my account is no longer public, not even in stories for everyone, it's no longer public lol.

It's been 2 weeks that it hasn't been working, I've sent 7 or 8 messages to report the bug to Snapchat but well.. It's a bit like Facebook, they will never respond.

no but two weeks is nothing... the responses always take several months... so you have to wait...

my account is no longer public means my account is private...

Yes, but it depends on the meaning actually... It is more public in the sense that it is no longer public at all even though it is configured for it...
