When I launch my PC and go to the BIOS (Asus EZ mode in this case), I see boot options for operating systems that no longer exist. I would like to remove these unnecessary options that take up space. How do I do that?

Thank you for your help!

"When I go into the BIOS (Asus EZ mode in this case), I see boot options for operating systems that no longer exist".

What do you mean by that?

Well, when I start my PC, I press delete to enter the UEFI, and I arrive on the Asus EZ mode page, and there I see squares in the boot sequence representing boot options that no longer exist; how do I delete them?

It's "boot options that no longer exist" that I don't understand. Does this refer to the drives (HDD, SSD, USB Stick, etc.) that are no longer present in the PC?

Yes, these are Linux operating system choices that are not connected (and will never be connected) to my PC, those are the ones I would like to remove.

      Perform a Clear CMOS.

Normally, you need to disconnect the power, remove the CR2032 battery, and then short the two pins where it says CLR_CMOS with a jumper, or use a screwdriver if you don't have a jumper.

It may say something other than CLR CMOS, check the motherboard manual.
