Non-functioning backlight on Lidl weather station

Hello, I have a radio-controlled weather station purchased from Lidl in December 2018. For the past few weeks, the backlight has not been working at all, although the station is still operational, but the screen is hardly readable. Can the backlight system be replaced, and if so, where can we find the necessary part? Thank you in advance for your insight.

Hello
have you thought about changing the batteries? Using the lighting drains them even faster

At least take the time to reply!
A thank you is appreciated.
Mark as resolved if your issue has been solved. I use "tu" with everyone.

3 years of service in the sector (OTIO brand with an external sensor). Everything works, but given various forums on the subject, although the station is permanently plugged into the mains, the batteries are optional if you don't unplug it (it just keeps the data). I fear that obsolescence is thus programmed, and I think I will dispose of it, as only the liquid crystals are functioning; the backlit LEDs are no longer working.

Hello, I have the same problem, the backlight does not work, it just keeps turning off. Well, I found the solution, I removed the batteries and left it plugged in, well, believe it or not, it works perfectly. So give it a try, you never know!

Good evening Redbart, the batteries have been changed, and I am also connecting my station to the mains, which usually activates a permanent backlight, but currently the screen refuses to light up.
