Hello everyone
I created tables on Libreoffice in Writer (multiple columns / multiple rows (List of my 45s).
I would like to position them side by side for alphabetical sorting. Then, I would make copies to have A4 pages. I succeeded for some using this method ( click on 1 cell then edit "select all" blue cell, re-click edit, re "select all", total blue, then click table - sort. The table converts to alpha. But it only worked for a few tables. The others remained as entered. I have to redo the "manipulation" each time for the others. Now I have several in "alpha". How can I merge them all to recreate a total sort? Be careful, I'm not very skilled in computers. I'm learning as I go, it's a hassle!!! Thank you, if someone can help me. Best regards JC 3335

    Hello.

I have never tried it on Writer.
But on Word, I place myself in the last cell of the first table, I click on the [Tab] key which adds an extra row, I do a "Copy" of the second table and I "Paste" it in the first cell of my extra row. I do the same for all my tables until they become one. Only then do I proceed with my sort. It shouldn't be very different on Writer!

    Good evening Raymond
I just tried your method, but it still doesn't work. When I click on the last row of my table (the footer is indicated), and then on the window that opened afterwards, I click on D, there are several options, notably "insert > row above or below, but nothing happens. There is no indentation anywhere. Since we are in the footer, I think it's normal. Thank you anyway. If anyone has another solution, it would be welcome.
    Thanks everyone

    No, we misunderstood each other...
It's not about clicking in the footer, but rather in the last cell of the first table: no window opens, just one more line appears.
And I checked: it's the same in Writer!
