Sony Bravia TV issue, red light blinking 4 times
Hello, I just had a problem with my Sony Bravia TV. While I was using it, it suddenly turned off, and the green light was replaced by a red light that blinks 4 times every 3 seconds. I read online that it was an issue with an electrical overload in the TV's protection circuit and that I should: "unplug the power cord and connect the two terminals of the plug together for at least an hour to allow the protection circuit to discharge."
Unfortunately, I don't know anything about technology; I simply unplugged the TV from all its sockets for a day, but I don't know what to do next since I don't understand what it means to connect the two terminals of the plug together. I would be very grateful to anyone who can help me, thank you in advance.

Hello,
You need to connect the two poles of the power plug together (short circuit with an electrical wire, a metal wire, a paperclip) for at least one hour to allow the discharge of the protection circuit.

Hello, I'm not sure I understand correctly, do I need to unscrew my TV? And I don't know where the two poles of the power plug are, can you help me?
