Chromecast in student housing

Hello!
I live in a student residence and I've just purchased Google's Chromecast.
However, the residence's Wi-Fi connection requires authentication through an internet platform for me to log in to Wifirst, similar to hotels. Unfortunately, I can't use this internet platform when setting up the Chromecast!
Do you have any tips? I tried using my phone as a hotspot, but my 4G connection isn't strong enough to serve as a proper Wi-Fi point.
