Hello,
the right ear of my headphones is dead, I took out my iPhone (jack) headphones that had been sitting in a drawer for about a year in their box, and I discovered that they have a bad smell and are all sticky, covered in a yellow liquid, but they still work, except I'm worried about the danger of this liquid, so I would like to know what this liquid is before putting them in my ears.

It is simply due to the "natural" degradation of rubber/plastic. Leaving them in a closed place has apparently accelerated the process.
People who wear glasses with rubber-coated arms are well aware of the phenomenon after a few years...
As for the dangers of the liquid, I don't know, but you won't be able to restore the coating to its original state. It may remain sticky/tacky... -

no but they are still like new despite the degradation, and it's not the problem of being sticky, I washed them with water and soap and put them in the sun, they are like new and work well, but I'm still afraid of the danger of the thing, there will always be some particles left
