Overload issue
Hello
First of all, I want to point out that I'm a novice in this area, so I don't understand the jargon regarding the installation of antennas/TNT, etc.
I'll explain myself in simple words, I haven't found the solution on this forum.
Today, I wanted to change my worn-out cabling that connects my TV, my TNT decoder (for French channels), and my decoder for foreign channels. Both are from the brand STRONG (they are not new).
My neighbor kindly agreed to repair it; cut, trim, etc. this cable, and he did it wonderfully. It's all new, rigid, clean, and smooth.
Everything was working well. It was all fine, but later when I turned on my foreign channels decoder (ext 2), it says antenna overload, and I hear a whistling sound or little fleeting pops.
However, the TNT decoder (ext 1) works without any problem.
What should I do?
Can I attach photos of my installation if possible?
P.S. I have a 16/9 Samsung TV.
Thank you for helping me; I'm getting stressed out :(((

Hello,
So this "decoder for foreign channels" is a satellite receiver?
What is its complete reference?
Try unscrewing the input cable from the satellite dish and see if this overload still appears

So you have a mixed TV/SAT wall socket, and maybe FM?
Did you do what I advised you? Disconnect the F socket at the input of the sat decoder and see if this overload is still displayed?

If this device indicates an antenna overload when it is disconnected, then there is a problem. What is its full reference?

The old one was very long and it always worked; I bought a short one
and it worked too
it's been 2 decades since we had long wiring and it was operational
the problem lies elsewhere because the DTT works anyway
it’s the decoder for foreign channels that is overloaded
anyway, I'm going in circles, I don't know what to do -

So this terminal is not at fault and that's what I wanted to check.
The F forms need to be redone properly and be careful, the slightest "hair" from the braid touching the copper core => short circuit => antenna overload display:

The wall socket is connected to the satellite dish and a rooftop antenna for digital terrestrial television + TV/SAT combiner
