Hello,
I spilled some coke on my laptop and 5 seconds later it shut down and won't turn on again (When I spilled the coke I immediately cleaned my keys). After that, I let it dry overnight but it didn't help, so I decided to take off the back and dry it, but with no results, please give me some ideas.
Thank you in advance.

Configuration: Android / SamsungBrowser 11.2

I experienced the same thing with my laptop two years ago (even though I wasn’t the one who spilled soda).
My reflex was to tilt the laptop on its side to let the liquid drain out, making sure to unplug the charger and, of course, turn off the device.

I did not try to turn it back on right away (that’s the action to absolutely avoid).
I hope you removed the battery (if not, do it immediately...). Next, disassemble the laptop by unscrewing the bottom plate. Disconnect the cables inside and remove the keyboard (this can take time; it’s not easy). If there is dust, it may have "protected" the components by absorbing the liquid. Get rid of the dust either with your vacuum cleaner set to minimum with a brush, or with a cloth (be gentle). Then, clean each component with alcohol using a piece of fabric or a disposable tissue. You can also use a cotton swab for harder-to-reach places. Don’t hesitate to disconnect some parts to do this properly (notably the RAM card(s)). The soda seeped through the keyboard and/or the power button: you obviously need to pay attention to these. If the keys on the keyboard are sticky, it needs to be cleaned: it’s quite complex. You can gently remove the keys (there are tutorials online; apply pressure on a corner...). I had dared to fully submerge my keyboard in hot water and let it soak to clean it. Of course, I dried it well (with a hairdryer) and left it to dry for several days to make sure there was no water left. Reassemble everything and hope it turns on.
It turned on for me, but there was an issue with the keyboard. I realized that the keyboard connection was damaged, and I severed the end of the cable to restore it. Some keys still didn't work or seemed "constantly pressed down." I disabled them from the registry.
If your laptop doesn’t turn on, it’s likely that some components are short-circuited and burned out (I’m thinking of capacitors...). You can check where the connection is failing with a multimeter. This is lengthy and much more complex. The only solution in my view would be to seek the help of a computer technician who can surely detect the faulty component.
Know that if you decide to give up, you can recover your hard drive to keep your data.
    Good luck.
