Hello,
Before switching to VoIP (total unbundling), we were on the PSTN with France Télécom.
We had installed a remote control TEL110 (Siemens) to trigger the central heating remotely = codes to be entered on the phone's keypad.
With VoIP, the TEL110 is no longer responsive to calls.
2 questions:
- Is this device still suitable for the problem?
- If not, is there a device on the market (from Siemens or another supplier) that addresses this issue?
If you have experience in this area, I would appreciate any insights.
Thank you in advance.

Hello, I am a Siemens technician working in the CPS division marketing the TEL110 product.
The TEL110 does not work and will never work with ADSL.
The technology of this product is too old to function with ADSL. Siemens has made no modifications for broadband compatibility.
The end-of-marketing date for this product is scheduled for mid-May 2010.
As of now, the TEL110 product is not replaced by a similar product.
For your information:
You can find the manuals for all SIEMENS devices by entering the product reference into a search engine. No need to go through the Siemens website.
Have a good day everyone.

Hello,
I have the same issue with a Delta Dore TYBOX remote control. Since switching to an Orange Livebox, when called, the heating remote picks up the line but is completely deaf to any key input from the phone. It doesn’t recognize either the digits of the secret code or the * or # keys which are used to select command options.
After calling the manufacturer, it seems that the signals from the frequency of the buttons are not being re-emitted by the Livebox.
I called Orange support yesterday. The first-level support team has escalated the issue to the second-level support team. I am waiting for a callback from them.

Hello,
With VoIP, the TEL110 is no longer responsive
Regarding sending or receiving?
If it’s about sending, it’s possible that your phone is set to decimal dialing.
Pick up the receiver, press 5, for example. If you hear 5 pulses, that’s the case.
You would then need to set your device to voice frequency.

To err is human, to persist is diabolical.

Hello,
it seems that the frequency signals of the keys are not being re-emitted by the Livebox
Strange argument. When we reach a voice server (like the hotlines of ISPs!), these signals are indeed re-emitted since they are perceived and understood by the receiving server!

Hello,
yes indeed, but hotlines or other voice servers are certainly connected to equipment with more advanced functionalities, or perhaps less simplified, than our general public "boxes."

Good evening,
I am reaching out to you because I have a friend who has the same problem as you with the Siemens TEL110.
Additionally, the technician took all the manuals with him....
Is it just a remote control, or is there a telephone relay included?
Would it be possible to get the diagrams and connection manual regarding this product?
Thank you in advance.
Thanks everyone.

Thanks everyone.
With autumn and then winter approaching quickly, I always have the same concern.
Thank you for this response that clarifies the incompatibility of the TEL110 with VoIP.
Given the relatively poor quality of the ADSL network in the Norman countryside, I think I will opt for a standalone remote control.
Best regards.
Thank you in advance for your response.

I'm considering doing a partial unbundling. Does it work?
Additionally, today I'm having a problem with my TEL 110; when I call my number, I hear the message for the access code very faintly, then some noise followed by a "goodbye."
No announcement to turn on the heating, temperature, or anything else...
Can someone help me get it working and tell me how to fix it?
Thank you.
my phone-triggered device from Landis and Gyr works with Freebox in Paris in full unbundling, but not in the countryside with partial unbundling. What do you think?
I am ready, if necessary, to buy another device; do you have a recommendation?
