Hello
This morning, when I logged in, there was no available wifi network. I checked my router, and also my mobile which is connected to the wifi, so there's no issue on that side.
I checked in Device Manager, and the network card does not appear. I looked in hidden devices, and there I see the card.
How can I restore it?
The problem is that I can't connect to the network any other way. I have an ethernet cable but my computer doesn't have an ethernet port!
Asus Vivobook Notebook
Windows 10, 64 bits
Thank you for your help
Have a nice day
Thelma

Thank you. Can you confirm that I don't need the internet to do this?
So if it stops working, I need to replace it?

It's the basics of computer troubleshooting as I’ve been practicing for 40 years, yes...
We change the smallest possible component, but we do change it because the magic wand like Harry Potter doesn’t work so well for that.
Then,
or before, you can add a USB adapter, the same goes for an ethernet port.

I can see the network card in the "hidden" devices
thank you
Thelma
set devmgr_show_nonpresent_devices=1
then:
start devmgmt.msc
I did that
with "set devmgr_show_nonpresent_devices=1" nothing happens
with "start devmgmt.msc" I see device manager and the network card is still in the hidden devices
