Unable to open Brave

Hello,
I tried to download the BRAVE browser.. It is well shown as an icon on my taskbar, but when I try to open it, the page is black.. Do you have any suggestions to help me access this browser, please? ... I had it in 2018, but my computer cleaner removed it claiming it wasn't "up to par" .. I hadn't tried to download it again.. But now I wanted to use it again.. I'm on W7.... Thanks and regards

    Hello,

    How did you download the browser? If the source comes from a third-party site other than Brave, the software may contain modifications and bugs.
    If that's the case, I invite you to remove the old version that isn't working and download the browser properly here:

    Hello, and thank you for replying...
    I tried to download Brave from its own site.. The download was successful.. I clicked on the icon at the bottom of my screen... A window opens, but it’s empty.. I deleted and redownloaded Brave... Still no response.. Empty, white window.. I am on W7, I used Chrome,... still no response,... deletion,... then downloaded with Mozilla, still nothing... However, when I tried "safe mode," Brave is correctly installed and works.. I don't see what else I could do... I thought it was Chrome and Mozilla that were blocking it.. I'm probably wrong.. Why does safe mode open Brave and not normal mode?
    No worries....
    Thank you anyway and I wish you a "smooth return to normal," in the open air;
